Description: Many libraries are now using games as part of their regular program offerings for all ages. Some libraries have also created programs which allow their patrons to create their own video games. This brief session will look at how we can apply library 2.0 concepts to game design, so that instead of the library creating games to market or instruct users, our customers create their own games to market the library and/or instruct their peers. We will look at a few examples of what some libraries are doing, and talk about what you can do at your library even if you have very little money or time. If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything, feel free to email me.
