Description: We all can agree that games can teach. The challenge is in creating games that teach the skills we want. At a time when more academic librarians are looking to the potential of creating games to teach information literacy skills, understanding the planning and development process is essential. Join representatives for four different information literacy game development teams to talk about common practices and problems.
This panel discussion will help those libraries already starting to develop games to use the panelist's experiences. By sharing in their highlights, hurdles, and hindsight, other librarians can continue working toward the successful creation of information literacy based games.
