Presenter: George C.A. Bergstrom (Purdue University Libraries, Management & Economics Library)

Description: After attending the GLLS 2007, the 12 library staff from Purdue who attended were very excited about bringing home what they learned and starting new programs. Twelve months later, the new steering committee is beginning to make progress with the organizational efforts, and has many ‘irons in the fire.’ This presentation will entail an outline of this organizational process (staff wiki), descriptions of the various events and projects begun (gaming event for staff, gaming events for students, collection development efforts, and faculty outreach), and some visioning for the future of gaming at Purdue.
