Description: As libraries increasingly incorporate gaming collections, events, and opportunities into their service offerings, "gaming spaces" are emerging as an area of interest and concern. Gaming spaces needed include those for collections, processing, events, and patron use. What kinds of temporary and permanent spaces best serve library goals for gaming? What are the characteristics of great gaming spaces? Are best practices starting to form? After preliminary remarks by the panels, session attendees will participate in a lively discussion of what library spaces are the best gaming spaces.
