Description: The research is in! It's time to debunk the myth that videogames have no place in the classroom. This past year, ALA-ALSC's Great Interactive Software for Kids Committee took on the challenge of evaluating videogames for educational content. Market industry studies and recent technology developments indicate a convergence of videogames and virtual worlds and educators need to be prepared. Learn about how you can transform the way educational materials are created and learning is delivered by using videogames and enhanced virtual world technologies in classrooms.
