Description: This presentation will relate our experience with starting a gaming and game design program at Bloom Trail High School, a school of 1,400 students in an economically challenged area of the southern suburbs of Chicago. Participants will learn how to dazzle their administrators by holding monthly tournaments of over forty students and weekly game design labs without spending a dime of the schools money. The presentation will cover hardware, software and community relations on the ultra cheap.
